Indeed Joachim Timmermann was born in Grebs, but because he married in Leussow a woman of Leussow I put the family to the Leussow list of emigrants.
In the marriage records we can read: "Einige Tage nach der Trauung reisten die jungen Eheleute nach Nord-Amerika, ihrer neuen Heimat" (The young couple travelled a few days after the wedding to North America, their new home)
The young couple was in companion of a group of emigrants from the region : the Wahler family, the old Haeusler farmer Johann Scheper and probably a cousin of the young man, Johann Timmermann. They reached New York with ship "Wieland" on July 26th, 1882.
