Carl Joachim Friedrich Heidtmann was born in Leussow in 1839. His father was daylabourer (Tagelöhner) and wheelwright Georg Friedrich Heidmann from Ramm. He was married to
Catharina Maria Sophia Haul, who probably came from Amt Neuhaus.
Beeing a daylabourer the father had to look for work everywhere. So the family moved from village to village:
1839 and 1840 they were inLeussow, 1841 in Malliß near Conow, 1845 in Schlesin, in the parish of Conow, too. In Neu Jabel the family appeared in 1849, and 1856 they were in Ramm near Alt Jabel where Georg Friedrich died.
Son Carl Friedrich Heidtmann, b. 1839, probably emigrated to Amerika. The passengerlists of the "Borussia" show workman F.C. Heidtmann, 26 years old, who arrived in New York on March 4th, 1865.
