In the following year Johann Dauck's mother followed a group of emigrants and reached New York with ship "Wieland" on July 26th, 1882. She had travelled together with the family of Johann Dauck's brother-in-law Wahler, old Johann Scheper and the Timmermann family.

Catharina Maria Sophia Dauck was born in Trebs in 1817 . Her parents were daylabourer Joachim Christopher Dauck and his wife Johanna Christine Sophie Greven, Trebs.
She had another illegal son: Friedrich Wilhelm Heinrich Dauck, b. 1853 . I do not know the father. This son married in 1876 his cousin Maria Sophia Louise Dauck.
In 1855 Catharina Dauck married widower shepherd Jürgen Christoph Grabbert in Klein Krams, who was 26 years older. They had one son who died at the age of four. Grabbert died 1875 in Klein Krams.
