Heinrich, b. 1829, left Mecklenburg in 1852. With ship "Java" he reached New York on July 1st 1852.
In 1855 he lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together with his brother Carl he is also mentioned in 1857/58.
Around 1855 Heinrich married his wife Marie, b. 1829. Their son Theodore also had a family later.

Two family members reached New York with ship "Hammonia" on March 3d 1857: Carl and Maria. They were accompanied by Minna Bredfeldt, b. abt. 1836. I do not know yet who she was. Maybe they followed the three elder siblings Elisabeth and Heinrich and the sister married to Gauerke. I can not find any traces of these persons in the Leussow records. The couple Gauerke/Bredfeldt emigrated 1853 or 1854.

Two years later followed the parents and brother Johann, heir of the farm. They reached New York also with ship "Hammonia" on May 30th 1859.
Why the family left their farm and went to America I do not know. Maybe reports of other emigrants had sounded so wonderful that they decided to leave Germany after having trouble with the Mecklenburg authorities.
Johann left a seven year old illegitimate son.
This was JOHANN Joachim Heinrich Bredfeldt, b. 1852. Later he became Buedner farmer in Göhlen. His mother was Buedner's daughter Maria Elisabeth Dorothea Sehland of Göhlen who married in 1862 Haeusler farmer Johann Schmidt.
